Last night I went to Hannah's house. Lots of peeps were there; Hannah, Sophie, Vince, Kat, Topher, Caitlin, Megan, and Tom. It was much fun. Then...something happened...something really weird...
Kat and Caitlin had gone outside and I was still sitting with the crowd talking when Tom and Topher mysteriously disappeared. I really had no idea what was going on so after a little while I went out to find them...
I went out Hannah's front door, and didn't really know where to search, so I wandered the streets calling Kat's name. It's pathetic, but I was that desperate. Finally Kat came wandering up, and we were just about to band together and search for the boys when Tom made our job a whole lot easier by finding us. This left a new question, however: Where was Topher?
We all stood pondering this for a moment. Then Kat got this strange look on her face, acted like she had something to say, and then yelled, "Look! An elephant!" Of course, we didn't look, but Kat started running down the street laughing like a maniac. It didn't seem safe to follow her, so Tom and I walked back to the house, talking like friends.
Now Kat and Topher were missing. We didn't really know what to do so Tom and I stood there looking off in the distance, hoping they would return. Suddenly the door opened from behind and there was Sophie! She screamed some nonsense, we screamed some nonsense, and the door closed with many questions unanswered.
Suddenly, Kat and Topher appeared in the distance with a friend. No, not Caitlin, not Hannah, and not Megan. But Mr. Coyote - the lovely spirit guide. We all then danced in the street to the music that Mr. Coyote provided. Soon he left us and it was time to go inside to the questioning stares of Hannah and Sophie (and even Vincent!) But there was no way to answer them, no way to explain. None of us know what really happened in all the time we spent outside but we do know that Mr. Coyote is a great musician!
