But I am glad you had an awesome time at the matsuri! Everything looks so colorful and busy! I wish we had something like that here, but mostly what we have is Fourth of July, but people have wasted a lot of that potential patriotism with food, food, and beer. :(

also, thank you again! I wanted to Owl City theme my layout and stuff this round, and I wanted that song somewhere because it's one of my favorites EVER from him...and that line fits the characters in question on my layout very well, I think ;__;

You're welcome! Sometimes days are like that: long but awesome. Sadly, they need to occur more. And food is always good.
Who are those characters? I'd like to know why the song fits so well. :) Needless to say, I pair songs to characters all the time.

And yeah, everyone needs the rest days!! :)
They're the main characters of this new anime called Mawara Penguindrum, best known for being the most eccentric show this season...there seems to be a deeper theme to it, but at these early stages it's not too apparent (yet). It seems to be something about 'destiny' and 'fate', as well as escapism...when you watch the show, you'll be able to see why the characters fit that song! :D (I love pairing songs to characters sob, it's fun!)
And yes! I'm actually on vacation already :Db time to slack.../rolls

Oh? I am going to have to look into that! I've been getting into more complex relationships, or at least ones in media and literature. It's interesting to see something else aside from your usual m/m, f/f, or m/f. Mostly because those stories have a lot more conflict and angst than others Cinderella and Romeo & Juliet get repeated too much and I am just a total sucker for anything that will make me bawl. So I'll have to check this out!

Not that it's technically incest (your mileage may vary on that) but they're awfully close and the whole premise of the show is centered around the three of them. It's nothing too tear-jerking so far, but I personally find the story of Kanba (the redhead, the older brother) really good ;___;
I hope your health and work aren't treating you too badly around this time QAQ) hang in there!
