LMFAO I LOVE BEELZEBUB AHHHH this arc is seriously the best one so far. (even though the volleyball arc was pretty damn hard to beat) I was dying so hard on Twitter when I caught up and got to these chapters. NATSUME LOOKS MORE LIKE A GIRL THAN USUAL?? Oh Himekawa. Secretly (or not) he is one of my favorite characters ahahahahahaha

I KNOW RIGHT with every chapter i am ROLLING in anticipation for the next......damn I loved the volleyball arc but this is just...IT SUDDENLY TOOK A LEAP UP...SOMEHOW. Goddamn it Himekawa practically bleeds awesome by this point. #continuerocking, Himekawa. and Natsume is AMAZING, I love that guy - I want to see more of him, somehow.

NATSUME IS SO COOL he is my #1 favorite, but I really love all of the characters. I love how so many of the characters are recurring and it's not so much just "beat this guy -> he's never seen again" kinds of arcs. I really hope this manga doesn't degenerate into mindless 5-page fights like Naruto or Bleach or whatever, because it's got a really good thing going. ;____; LMAO HIMEKAWA IS SO BADASS IN SO MANY WAYS.

Natsume is your #1 huh.........why am I not surprised. BUT HE'S AWESOME as he should be. And yeah, I like how a lot of the characters end up being significant in some way eventually.....though I still suck at remembering names, NGL. I think Naruto and Bleach mostly suffer from (1) having way too many characters (2) not being sports manga, because I may be wrong, but I feel that most sports manga can effectively pull off having TONS of reasonably memorable characters (hi Tenipuri, hi Eyeshield 21) but in shonen manga most 'bad guy crews' tend to be one-use only per arc :la I THINK BEELZEBUB IS TRYING TO AVOID THAT WHICH IS GOOD, VERY GOOD.

Himekawa's "I BOUGHT THE GAME" line makes me want to write an Inception parody of this whole series but I might die trying.

I think Jump series all suffer from "I want my manga to sell so it doesn't cancel, so I will have 5-page fights and cliffhangers and fanservice everywhere!!!" syndrome, which Beelzebub is thankfully avoiding...so far. (KHR was really good before it got awful, too ;_;) But you're right that it's easier for sports series. XDb YEAH IT'S NOT SURPRISING HE'S MY FAVORITE BECAUSE I AM A HORRIBLY PREDICTABLE PERSON OKAY. It should never be hard to guess my favorites.

I still regard Bleach as a work of art and Naruto is still good for me but LOL MADARA STOP TROLLING that is all OTL
LMFAO ALL MY KHR WOES T_________T just give me my Mukuro and Hibari foe yay back (/BIAS) and stop the awful writing, Amano...the TYL arc started out good and proceeded to suck and even up till now I can't empathize with half of her characters because I keep forgetting where they are Q__Q Enma is pretty much Shimon's best feature right now, but everything feels a bit too rushed in KHR at times, it's quite disconcerting to see 'omg he is so strong' people get taken down in 2 chapters sometimes...
