12096m Above Earth

Day started very promising by finding out my printer ran out of ink. So we had to run to a store to print out our plane tickets. After arriving at the airport and turning out luggage in, my sis asked me if I put the keylock on my suitcase to which I answered ".....shit."

It was too late to do anything so we just boarded the plane and prepared for a long flight. First thing we noticed was the plane being a newer model. It's been a while since I traveled with Adria (easyjet=super cheap) so when the small monitors dropped down to show the planes current location, altitude, speed and temperature, it was followed by two excited "Oooooh"'s.

The skies were clear and the flight went smooth. 3 hours later, we found ourselves on Moscow airport. It's a huuuuuge place, and it took us 15 min of walking just to get from terminal F to terminal D. While looking around for domestic flight check-in, a russian airport employee stepped to us and asked us where we were going...in russian. After some english-slovene-hand waving-russian, he pointed us to the direction of domestic flights. By the time we checked in, our tummies told us it was time for lunch.

Honestly, I didnt expect to get that tired, but by the time we were on the plane to Astrakhan, my eyes were drooping. I probably would've fallen asleep if not for a bad turbulence that made me feel like I was in a cocktail shaker.

We arrived to Astrakhan a little over midnight local time. It was kinda awesome when dad was waiting for us as soon as we stepped off the plane, and we were taken to the VIP room to wait for someone to bring our suitcases.

I dropped dead into bed when we got home.
