portable music players
I want to get a portable music player (MP3s mainly), but I dont know what to get. My grandad gave me some money for christmas, and it has just been sat around looking all sad, and not dancing!
I'm slightly tempted to follow the masses and get some sort of iPod. The new ipod classic is supposed to have fairly good sound quality, and With 80gb of storage you can't go far wrong! I could store music in a lossless format and it would sound awesome.
But part of me says I should get something with solid storage rather than a HDD. I worry about a HDD breaking. So when I think about it like that I want to get an 80gb ipod to use in my car and in the house, and a smaller, cheapo mp3 player for running/gym etc (maybe a creative zen stone - they are cute)

They are actually supposed to have a better sound quality, with a bassier 'punch' than the ipod classic.
The final option is to get an mp3 player phone. My account has just been creditted with £100 because I phoned up threatening to leave O2 and move to orange. The only restriction is that I have to get a payasyougo phone on O2.
