(no subject)
I saw a dead eagle on the train tracks at Picadilly station 2 days ago. It was really sad. At first I thought it might have got squished going for the pigeons in the station, but then I realised that was unlikely. You don't get many golden eagles in Manchester. So I guess it must has got battered in Scotland or up north somewhere, got caught in the undercarriage and then fallen off when the train stopped.
These things happen. But what peeved me was that no-one had moved it. It was very undignified (I would probably say the same about a squished pigeon or rat was well - even though I dont like those things.)
