Conversation with my stepmother
Me: Is there a way to let out a dress because none of my formal dress from high school fit anymore.
Her: Yes (Describes how). But I think you should consider other alternatives first. especially at your age.
Me: What alternatives?
Her: Getting back to where you fit into those dresses again
Me: It isn't a weight thing (I've gainned a cup size since graduating high school, the dresses fit right until just under my breasts).
Her: Well, we'll talk about it later.(Pause) Or we won't.
