iPod problems

I've got an iPod Nano whose wheel is ridiculously sensitive. Every time I touch the wheel, it thinks I'm trying to change the volume, and often a lot of times I'm taking my finger off the wheel it'll change the volume, too. On my old ipod (green-screened ipod classic), it got so out of whack that if I just touched the wheel, the volume flickered like an about-to-blow lightbulb. I didn't need to move my finger at all, and it went nuts.

Maybe the nano has an option to control wheel sensitivity?

I couldn't find one, but I haven't played with iPod options much before. Sounds like your old one had similar problems to my nano. It's kind of annoying because I'll be trying to listen to it, maybe skip a song, and all of a sudden the volume goes haywire. I set a new max volume to a lower setting, so hopefully that'll help keep it from blowing out my eardrums.
