So yesterday I turned 32. Kymbogs asked what I did for my birthday 10 years ago.
1997 I was living The Frat at Hill Top. I was unemployed and spent my time signing on, attneding government sponsored learning programs at the Huddersfield Chamber of Commerce, and playing Wipeout2097 and the Playstation. I have no real recollaction of what I did for my birthday that year. I do remember the year before because I ended up at a friends house watching Eurovision, ugh, what a way to spend your 21st birthday.
Given my situation at the time, my birthday probably went something like this. Get up, it was a Sunday (I have just looked it up). Have some breakfast. Switch on Playstation. Keep playing until everyone else in the house was up. Watch TV for awhile. Either roleplaying, with drinking all night, or down to Milton for a few pints. Thinking about that pretty much describes most of my days back then.
