Deep Red
Pitter patter,
Dance fair lady,
See this rain come down.
Hear this pain, my agony,
Pour down upon your soul.
Laughter, joy, and harmony,
Are gone, so long, be dead.

My bitter pain,
By dragon fang,
Leaves roses in the clouds.
Cinnamon romances,
Sunrise of ruby days,
A fire ring,
A violin,
Soap opera whines of silk.
Of blood red dreams,
Of angry rains,
Release these ruby pains.

Upon my wings of crimson red,
Black feathers float around.
Of moonless nights,
Of mermaid hearts,
Of trees with bitter barks.
Of battles led by fearful men,
Of many crossing paths.

With ruby leaves,
And deep cut gashes,
Of sticky soul-cut sap.

With red cat eyes,
And bloody claws,
Fly away on wing,
Of fantasies,
And tinted dreams,
So fly away my king.
