i can see both sides of the debate. i've seen and experienced how fiercely emotional Koreans can be, and yet sometimes i think (with my own cultural bias) that their actions, or the actions they demand, just go overboard.
i don't want to attack or defend jay. honestly, i just really want him back. 2pm isn't 2pm without him. the spice girls weren't the spice girls anymore when geri left. the backstreet boys just like, died, when kevin left. 2pm would be disturbingly incomplete without their leader.
he wouldn't have stuck it out in a country he "hated" for 5 years, he wouldn't have left korea if he hadn't thought that was what the koreans wanted (i mean, hello, the petition for him to commit suicide?? it was prolly muuuch safer for him to leave anyways), and honestly, logically, especially if you're not a fangirl/fanboy, korea is not an easy to place to live in and like. my classmates who were working as teachers etc in korea, exchange mates, friends, even my korean classmates, even my korean professor who lived in the US for some time, have all at least at one point expressed dislike for something about korea.
yes, he did wrong, punish him, but don't be extreme. it's a virtue to forgive...
(there was no official statement from JYP confirming his departure... i can hope that he can still come back, right? please come back, 박재범.)
