The weekend flew by me....
So the show was great for my first show. When I first arrived, I was nervous because I didn't have any big huge displays like everyone else. My table was cute though, and alot of people came by just to see what I was offering. I did get a few strong leads, and one consultation booked this week! Yay! I was loving the fact that a lot of brides were just starting planning, and not sure if they were going to hire a planner or not. Yay, good for me! So I will commence on the emailing of the brides I did get this week. In a couple of weeks the show will send me the full registered list, so that will be some more emailing for me to do. All in all, if I end up booking this bride I see on Wednesday, the show paid for itself and a couple times over. So that is awesome. I'll have to send thank you cards to my family members that sent money to help out.

Everyone said my table was cute and they loved how everything tied in together. So my future in table designs is looking promising, lol. I'll just have to have some bigger displays. I can't wait until my first wedding is done in May so I can also have pictures of what I can do. That will be helpful!
I just finished my finals for this semester before I started typing this. Woohoo!! This semester dragged on and on. And it is mostly from my economics class. I totally still don't know what the hell I was talking about in my paper, but I think I am going to do ok. The wonderful references I found helped. And then my paper on geology was fun. I had to design a tour of different things, volcanoes, caves, islands, and what not. It was fun, so I just flew through that one. And the fact that with the research assignments we did through out the class was basically that section for our paper. So that was cool. Copy and paste.
I guess now I am off to relax, or even surf some more internet. I do have some pictures of the kids I want to upload. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
