Holiday Intermission
Today is the only day I am at work this week, so it is sort of my break from the holiday, ugh. But my Christmas was great! My kids had a ball opening their gifts! Jorden ended up with more, but he has his room decorated a little more, so that ended up good. I still have to get a rale to hang his Superman curtains that me and my mom found at K-mart, so that was luck! His room looks more Supermanish now! He loves his basketball hoop we got him, he made a few baskets already! Even Jaylynn loves it. He also got a big bag of huge legos, clothes, 2 pairs of shoes, undies (he went in the potty a few times already), a Superman bank, Superman throw pillow for his bed, Superman tall pillow, Superman toy, a box with 3 balls (soccer, football, basketball), a bigger soccer ball, coloring books and crayons, cars, and an elmo book and elmo mini doll. He loves everything, he wanted to play with everything as he was opening things! He took so much longer than Jaylynn.
Jaylynn got clothes, 2 pairs of shoes, a toddler laptop (which is awesome, I recommend it to anyone has 60 different games!), a toaster and coffee maker for her kitchen, a doll set (twins, highchair, swing, playpen, stroller, and diaper bag), 2 mini pony dolls, a wooden b-day cake set (she has been singing happy birthday to me since then b/c my b-day was on Saturday.), a wooden paper doll set, Candyland, a comforter for her bed, a new hamper, coloring books, mechanical crayons, 2 Princess mini figurines, some lip gloss, and I don't think I forgot anything, but I can't think of anything right now.
I got Tj the Kitchenaid mixer and the food grinder attachment. My sister got him the pouring sheild attachment and those were the only two we could find. So I will have to try Sears, or just order off the website soon. He wants the pasta attachement and the ice cream maker one. I also got him Assassins Creed for PS3, an hdmi cable (that now we find out our big screen does not have an input for, ugh!), and a grooming set with nose trimmer and all, lol.
I got 2 Sims games!! Bon Voyage, and Teen Style Stuff, Bon Voyage is awesome! I have been playing non stop ever since. I also got a digital camera!! Yay, you shall see more picture posts in the near future! I also got a Garmin navigational system for my car, YES! No more getting lost in Tennessee! This will come in handy when going on tours of places for weddings. My mom got me some pajamas, a necklace and earring set. She got me and Tj some new dishes, which are great, and a dvd/vcr for the living room since ours broke, but we have put it in the bedroom since Tj was hogging the big screen with his new game, lol.
Last but not least, Blu got a new pillow to sleep on, a huge bone, got a good picture of him to post later, a harness, some dental bones, and a new ball. He has been leashed since my mom is here, she is not used to big dogs, and he is quite playful, so he has been sleeping all week. I have taken him outside a bunch though to get his motor going, lol. And he spent some time yesterday roaming around the big porch, so I hope he won't be too finicky by the end of the week. He has either been in the kitchen, tied to a couch, or in my bedroom. But he has been ok so far.
I want to go out for New Year's, but have not looked for a sitter yet, so I doubt I will be able too. Also, who has money to go out for New Year's, Tj said I have a spot at the bar at his job, but he'll be working all night, and I have no one to come with me. Suck. We'll see. My mom is leaving on Saturday, she wants to go to Opryland, so hopefully we get out to do that tomorrow. Every time she comes down here, she just rests all day, lol. I guess that is what vacation is for! The kids are loving her being down here of course.
Alright, let me try to do some kind of work while I am here, I am bored, hopefully we get to leave early.
