yes, but at least you have a Wee One to blame for being up at horrific hours (notice I didn't say it was Nat's fault...just that she's a convenient excuse if you haven't got a better one). All I have is...umm.... my cat was purring too loudly? The sheets were too prickly? The temperature was never Quite Right? My inner vampire is trying to reestablish her proper circadian rythyms?
I think I could make my fortune if I could patent an invention whereby insomniacs would be able to whack themselves over the head with a cast-iron skillet at the proper angle and force to effect several hours of unconsciousness. It would have to have movable fittings though, so that said victim could fall directly onto a bed or sofa.
Sounds like a winner to me. Beats all hell out of folding laundry because the brain wants to do anything but sleep, but won't focus well enough to concentrate on reading, stitching, watching TV, etc.

*hug* I'm sorry sweetie...that truly bites. That's worse than when I was sick and reading Good Housekeeping magazines like they were the unpublished works of Gaiman. Hope it gets better soon!
