Jason Thomas Dunn
of Endwell

Jason Thomas Dunn, 23, of Endwell, died in Portland, Maine, Monday, June 27, 2005, as a result of an accident. He was predeceased by his godfather, Frederick White; his uncle, Paul Dunn; and his grandfather, George White. He is survived by his proud and loving parents, Thomas and Antoinette Dunn; by his younger brother and two older sisters who shared so many wonderful memories together, Richard Dunn, Erin and husband, Tony Khouri, Royal Oak, Mich., and Kathryn and husband, Neil Sandhoff, Reston, Va.; by grandparents, Helen White, Endwell, N.Y., and Richard and Grace Dunn, Utica, N.Y.; and also by so many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jason graduated from Clarkson University in 2004 with an engineering management degree, beginning his career at Country Home Products, Burlington, Vt. He was a superior athlete and very active in sports, excelling in soccer through the collegiate varsity level at Clarkson. Jason was a founding brother of the Clarkson University chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. The brotherhood holds him in their highest honor and will miss him profoundly. Jason's passion was fixing up and "off-roading" traditional Jeeps with his friends in Burlington, and dreamed of one day starting his own business, "Truck MD," with them. Jason especially loved camping, the outdoors, his pets and living in Vermont. He demonstrated his compassion by his numerous volunteer activities and his love by his special ability to relate to children. One of his proudest achievements was his Eagle Scout award, which he accomplished with his parents and the leaders of Troop #209 Endwell. Jason lived life to its fullest and was admired by all who knew him for his capacity to embrace its challenges and pursue his goals with purpose and drive. He will always be remembered as a loving brother and son. We will all miss his smile, his charm, his big hugs, and his ability to show us the joy of life.
