So the exams are progressing along nicely (I hope). I either am getting in the 90's or in the 40's. My Hinduism exam was "interesting". 183 questions, all philosphy...all multiple choice. I finally understand what they mean by the "left brain" "right brain" thing. Science students do not know how to take a philosophy exam. We don't have multiple choice..it's always long answers (which always require complicated diagrams) or calculations. This whole 200 multiple choice concept is foreign to me. I got bored of reading the questions half way through. I actually had to take a break half way through and just sit there and look around for 20 minutes. I am convinced that any philosophy exams should not be multiple choice. Expecially when they are done in Sanscrit and every word looks the same. I don't know why people say that "art students are lucky, they get multiple "guess" exams". Um, NO! Try taking a frickin 183 question multiple exam...it gets confusing...and you have to be soo careful about reading every little detail. I got so used to just skimming the question to get the numbers I needed so I can manipulate a formula for it that having to sit there and read a novel just so I can get the answer was very difficult.
I have psych on Friday...looking forward to that one, and then just one more after that and I am DONE! I have never wanted my exams to be over as badly as I want it this year. I want to go home.
My head hurts, my tummy hurts....I am confused about everything. I hate this.
