As anyone who's been near my LJ in the past couple of weeks will have noticed, Chuck and Blair are all up in my head-space at the moment. They haven't completely shoved Sam and Andy out of there, but it's a close-run thing.

Eureka - Jack/Allison. Ugh. Ugh. All the ugh in the world. It's a pain because it makes it hard to find good fic, because it's a canon pairing; and it makes it hard to watch the show sometimes, because it's rammed down our throats. I mean, I love Jack (he's one of my favourite characters) and he loves Allison, so it's nice to see him happy and all, BUT SHE IS SO DULL I WANT TO THROW THINGS.
D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t
I was going to say Dan/Blair because it would make GG easier to cope with at the moment, but I REALLY DON'T WISH I LIKED THEM, so... Dov/Gail maybe? It squicks me out for reasons I'm not very clear on, and that means I can't read the fic. There's too little RB fic as it is, and I hate that I don't get to read it all.
E - Have you added anything stupid/cracky/hilarious to your fandom, if so, what
Heh. I have written crack fic for waltzmatildah's TVD Chinese Whispers ficathon, but it hasn't yet seen the light of day. I am super excited to see how it turns out.
F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom
I don't know. I was in the West Wing fandom for a loooooong time, but I don't know how long it was, or even when I fell out of it. Most of my contributions to that fandom are lost to the mists of time, inactive e-mail accounts, and the demise of Yahoo!Groups (yes, it was that long ago). I keep thinking I should hit up the Wayback machine and see if I can find any of my meta/pontificating. I would probably curl up with shame if I ever did.
G - Do you remember your first OTP, if so who was in it
I remember being mildly obsessed with Howie and Jody from The Fall Guy way back when. Yikes. I just looked up the IMDB to check how to spell Jody's name and am HORRIFIED by how old I am.
My first f'reals, obsessive, they-have-to-end-up-together-or-the-world-will-be-WRONG pairing was probably Pacey/Joey, though.
H - Do you prefer characters from real action series or anime series

My internet connection is super-slow, so tumblr wasn't a thing I even went near until recently. (It gets really annoying to have pictures load half-way and then fail, so that you have to load each one separately in a new tab - kinda takes the fun out of things.) So far it hasn't put me off anything.
J - Name a fandom you didn’t care/think about until you saw it all over tumblr
Blah blah same-as-before-cakes. If the question were LJ, though, the answer would be SO MANY. If Rookie Blue hadn't pulled me back into LJ-land, I would almost certainly not be watching Lost Girl, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, New Girl, Happy Endings, Parks and Recreation, Community, or Hart of Dixie.

I'd love to see an AU Gossip Girl where they're all poor. Properly poor, not like Dan (oh woe is me, my father owns our home, his business, the building his business is in, and has savings. WHY can't I get financial aid?) Humphrey. Me? Bitter about that? I have no idea what you're talking about.
I...want to invent lots of AUs for Rookie Blue, but I don't have much of an imagination, and what there is doesn't work that way.
Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why
Psych - Shawn/Juliet. To the point where I'm now just waiting for this to show up on my TV rather than watching online. I can't get over the dishonesty, and I don't think Juliet will, either, so I can't ship them any more.
R - A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships
Well, I'm not completely alone in my Elena/Alaric love, but it's safe to say that I'm in a very small minority within the TVD fandom. Of course, counted in that minority is the guy who plays Alaric. He even writes crack fic about it on Twitter. It is glorious.
S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon
I was going to write a fic about this, but every time I tried it turned into something else, and the last thing it turned into is currently shredding my insides with TEH ANGST, so it will probably never see the light of day. So, for better or worse, here's some Andy McNally head-canon.
She can cook, okay? She just...doesn't most of the time. It brings back memories she spends a lot of time deliberately not thinking about.
When she was a kid, family meals were a big deal. Every day her Dad would come home from work and they'd all eat together. It was their thing. And if he was late, she and her Mom would eat, but then when Tommy came home, her mother would heat up his meal and the two of them would sit at the table with him while he ate, and they'd all talk about their day. Andy would have milk and cookies, because it's weird just to sit and watch people eat.
She doesn't know when things started to change, but Tommy started coming home on time less often, then her mother stopped sitting with them while he ate, then she stopped even keeping food for him. And with a kid's lack of understanding of cause and effect, she thought the fights they started having were about the food, and when her mother left she was determined to fix that.
So she taught herself to cook. It wasn't all that hard-it was the cleaning up that sucked, with her too-long limbs she was always knocking stuff over-and she kind of liked it. And for a while it seemed to work; her Dad came home on time, and they ate together, and they talked about their day, and he called her kiddo, and she wondered if she could get her Mom to come home.
Her Mom had been gone about three months the first time Tommy called to say he'd be late. She sat at the table and waited, and when he came home a couple of hours later, they ate together like always.
After that it happened a lot. Then it was later and later before he'd come home. A few times she fell asleep at the table and woke up as he stumbled through the door.
The morning she woke up with the sun streaming through the kitchen windows straight into her eyes, only to find her father passed out on the couch, and his dinner uneaten on the counter was the day she decided she wasn't going to cook any more.
Wow. That was long. Probably I should have just written the fic.

Can I just say that I find the words "homoships" and "heteroships" decidedly off-putting.
I ship mostly het pairings, and although I have no real objection to slash pairings, I can't think of any off-hand that I like, except maybe Damon/Alaric, although I like them more as friends.
Oh, Dov/Chris would be cool, I think. I also didn't hate Josh/Sam from The West Wing although I loathe Rob Lowe with the heat of a nova.
