It's been a while since I last updated due to finishing things off with work before my holiday. I'm not GOING anywhere so why is it called a holiday when you're not GOING anywhere?
I had my US scan on Wednesday. Right, okay- it's just a scan. Nothing more than warmed up jelly and the microphone scanner.... but it hurt. The woman was DRAGGING itover my ribs constantly then digging the bastard in. It was very uncomfortable. One bit was rather amusing...
"And hold your breath,"
*Holds it*
"Okay... where's your kidney gone?"
*Tries to keep holding on to breath but obviously can't as mysteriously my right kidney has DISAPPEARED*
"WTF?"
"Uh, hold your breath please, I think I found it...oh, no.... that's not it....wait..."
UHM, it was there when I woke up that morning. Unless it FELL out or went on vacation, I am quite sure I had TWO.
"Oh.. I think I found it. Some of your organs are higher up. Under the ribcage, so it'll be slightly uncomfortable when I press harder (yeah no shit sherlock)"
*trying not to pass out as still holding breath*
"Oh there it is! I found it" (her glee over finding it CONCERNS me....)
*going blue*
"La la la right lets do this last... OH BREATHE YOU CAN BREATHE NORMALLY NOW"
*passes out*
Okay, I didn't REALLY pass out but the stupid bint was like HOLD BREATH.... AND HOLD.... *digs in with the microphone thing which makes me want to make STABBITY WITH HER FACE* then she forgot to tell me to ya know BREATHE.... The gel was gross too. I got it all over. It was basically like having SNOT rubbed all over your stomach. Gross.
Anyway, that was my ultrasound on Wednesday. Woo.
My brothers are joining moi and the rest of the fam for Easter. I think we'll last about... an hour before we start to argue ;) ^_^ But all in good fun.
TMI I just went to scratch my right armpit OMG SWEATY MCSWEATERSON.... I'm gonna go for a shower.
