I watched the ep! :) LOL I did kind of enjoy it. I will have to put it under a cut due to some flisties may not have downloaded it yet. I am downstairs and when I use the apple mac, it never lets me use richtext thingy on here. I have to do it all the old fashioned way which sucks my cock, but oh well.
I liked the story a lot. There are always a few blips but that's with pretty much any show and especially when you purposely look for them- which can happen when you're trying to assess what people DIDN'T like about it- after reading a few mixed reviews. I am still not a fan of Bela. I didn't think her acting was horrible - but the dream Bela was a little- uh okay. The thing is. Bela isn't ugly and for Sam to dream of her (though I didn't overally like it) its not really uncommon for men to think with their penises and not really their brains. I still don't see why she's really important to the SPN world, but this time it wasn't as bad. But still, Bobby should have been on ball with Flagstone or whatever- LOL but I did laugh anyway, with the erection thing which will please some writers and fangirls!! ^_^.
I thought Demon!Dean was of course very hot. I like the black lenses and have always thought they looked cool when used (like sharks eyes- soulless) The dream Dean had was very touching and facing himself was a very good character touch. The colours and editing were good- I did really enjoy them.
Bobby is scoring up a lot of ♥ ::love:: on my flist and he is an awesome ingredient to the show. I have liked him since his first appearance! :)
I mean, I do see why some of my friends haven't enjoyed the ep (perhaps the Bela element) but c'mon- it wasn't a BAD episode! You sometimes get weaker episodes in a series you love. Every show has one or two, but I really didn't think this was one of them, especially with what Jared and Jensen gave in their performances.
Jensen is a pretty boy and no doubt that has helped/influenced his work in LA. Getting a job within a week of moving there- pretty face. But he can act. I'm not debating here if Jensen is better than Jared or vice versa. They do their character amazingly well. They are our Sam & Dean. My brothers don't really watch SPN because they think I watch it because of the good looking boys and that only. However. My older brother caught a few scenes (when I made him when I was sick) and he admitted he really did think they were cool and that Jensen as Dean was pretty awesome. He liked Sam too but I think the bit he saw was pretty much Dean heavy. I was pleased because he went with the acting. As far as I know, I don't think my brother bats for the other team ;) I know a few people who watch it only because of Jensen or Jared- which fine, helps with ratings but I always feel they're missing out on enjoying a show for what it is. An entertaining piece of enjoyment and distraction from reality. I worshiped the X-files and I never really got into Smallville. So this was something that did appeal to me, especially after Buffy and Angel were at an end.

Note: I am all for getting my friends autographs. But this time. YOU HAVE TO PAY ME, PLS. I got a few as a couple of favours last year and although I do love to treat my friends. I'm sorry guys. I cannot afford to do this over and over with nothing in return. I really need payment or a swap of autographs - or if you can knit- I want a spiffy hat ;)
