the mountains are the place...

I hung out up in the mountains all weekend and spent the night in a funky little cabin at 11,000 ft. It snowed and the wind howled all night in the cabin. There wasn't much sleep to be had, but the view, the company and the hiking all made up for it.

I'm back in Boulder and facing questions about school. I really like going to class. I like the content, the professors (for the most part), and my classmates. I'm not having so much fun with the reading and paper writing. I would much rather be hanging out outside hiking, biking, etc. It's been challenging connecting with people and have regular human relational contact. My housemates can't really do relational. Hanging out with folks over the weekend made me realize how much I miss that sort of contact and am having a difficult time finding it in Boulder. So if anyone wants to drop me a line just to say hi, that would be fantastic.

On to Human Growth and Development reading...
