Hopefully the day will get better
I had a sucky morning. I was backing out of my yard and this van goes by and honks all loud at me like I was gonna hit them. No douchebag! I was just easing back a bit so I could see what was coming. Sheesh!
THEN worst of all, I'm like seconds from work on my stupid back country road and as I make a turn, and without warning a stupid herd of deer are running right at me. See I know to be careful on this road and to not go too fast. I'm not even sure I was going fast and at that exact point is when I start to slow down to be alert for them. Anyway, I slow down best I can and luckily they don't make it out in front of my car but they start running along side it and I think one had to jump over my car. All I know is my foot was on the brake and I closed my eyes [smart I know] and braced for impact. Stupid deer ran into the side of my car with a loud thud. Checked my car when I got parked and no dents or scrapes so that's good. Narrowly escaped death so I should be happy. But more pissed b/c I'm usually really good at spotting deer and being more careful. My supervisor tried to joke w/ me about my speed but I was in no mood. I cried. At work. Again. God I'm a loser.
Now I know how celebrities must feel when paparazzi start bum rushing their cars. Poor celebrities.
