Left behind in the voice that went unheard
(Traces of tears that spilled over, two faces that can't be fully hidden)
Love will softly blow through like the wind
Sleeping in the endless night
(Traces of tears that spilled over, two faces that can't be fully hidden)
The pain left behind in the scars of a dream...
Alright. Here's a quick CG. It's done. I don't care. I'm not touching it again >.< He's meant to kind of look melancholy. I don't really know if that worked or not, but there you have it. I haven't really been motivated to draw much recently... hopefully that'll change soon? Blegh.. I don't know. I'm not happy with how this turned out, really.
My Inui from
pot_talents in his cherry blossom photoshoot. Poor bastard is thinking about Renji. How sorrowful he is. *sigh*
As always comments are love and usually make me want to draw more <333
I can't believe this actually happened! Someone wrote me an accompanying little ficlet thingy! Now it's based in canon and not the universe this Inui is from but I don't really care~ I asked if I could share it and the author
Ezriee, over on y!gal said yes~ For all you InuKai fans, here is one for you <3 (All I said in the description over there is that Inui was thinking about Renji).
Kaidoh stood on the pathway lined with cherry blossom trees, their delicate petals floating down, filling the air with pink snow. His chest hurt as he looked at the taller man standing before him.
'He's been spending a lot of time with Yanagi...he said they were just friends, but...' Kaidoh paused mid thought and looked to the glasses-covered eyes that hid what he knew to be vibrant green eyes. Ones he often found himself drowning in when they were alone.
"Sadaharu...Inui-senpai..."
Inui watched as the emotions fled his lover's face. Pain remained in his eyes as Kaidoh tried to distance himself from him. As his lips parted to speak, to interrupt his distressed viper, his words froze as Kaidoh continued.
"Inui-senpai...go to Renji, baka!" He snapped at the data collector. 'I'll be fine by myself...and you'll be happier with him.' He continued in his mind and turned to walk away, embarrassed when his eyes began to burn with what he knew was the beginning of tears. He wanted to reach up and wipe the bitter saltiness from his eyes, but stuffed his hands in his pockets and blinked them back, refusing to let them fall.
"Karou..."
The younger male stopped as if struck at hearing his name spill from the lips. His name always sounded so right coming from the deep baritone that was the voice of Inui Sadaharu. His body tense, he turned and glanced over his shoulder.
There, under the fall of pale pink petals, Inui reached out to him, his face solemn. His shirt pulled slightly across his strong shoulders, exposing a touch of his toned abdomen. He new the skin in that particular spot was hard with muscle, yet the skin was soft and warm, decorated with a thin trail of dark hair that disappeared beneath the waistband of his pants. He couldn't draw his eyes away from a single petal as it brushed the tips of Inui's fingertips.
"Karou...my data never factored in Renji as more than a friend. You, however, are an integral part of my own data. You are much more than a friend. If you don't trust me, trust my data. It rarely lies."
Kaidoh looked to the taller male and felt a smirk forming on his lips. He shook his head as a stubborn tear slipped from the corner of his eye. "Sadaharu...that was corny even for you, you baka."
Inui gave a wistful smile as his kouhai approached him and allowed himself to slip into his arms. "It was, but it's true. I want you, Kaidoh." his arms tightened around kaidoh smiling at the petals that rained down, landing in his lover's hair. "Trust me."
