Gosh, if you look at my journal you'd never guess that I have more than just this one icon. I still love my 'joy of summer' icon but it doesn't really fit the season, does it?
So I at least I uploaded all new pictures and I kind of plan to update more often, or at least with more interesting stuff than memes :) I have been pretty absent on lj, also because I don't watch any show religiously and in the same pace as everyone else and also because I have been focusing on other stuff than the internet. Which is a good sign for me.
In retrospective (although it might be a little early for that) my year 2007 has been great. I went to China and Taiwan, I had the first one-year-anniversary of a relationship ever, my roommates and me get along better, I have really achieved some of my goals study-wise and I lost 10 pounds. (Or 5 kilos, but 10 pounds sound more impressive than 5 kilos!)
My parents separated, but all in all that is a good thing and not a bad one. Even though I am anxious to see how christmas in a two-household-family will work for me and my sis.
I sometimes wake up in the morning and feel as though I'll never be able to finish university the way I want to, but I really have been more studious, so I probably shouldn't worry that much...
And I have really started to get into the christmas mood. Yesterday was full-on christmassy for me. I opened the advents-package I got from my mom, with an advent-calendar and some gifts to unwrap during december. I love that stuff, even though I actually might be a little old for it(?)
I also decorated my room, took out some star-shaped tea light holders and the such.
I'd love to decorate the whole apartment, but my roommates dislike christmas and what to have as little to do with it as possible. What the don't know: in the end my christmas-spirit will seep out from my room into the whole apartment. *evil* I already do my best to play 'last christmas' by wham as soon as I can.
Tomorrow or the day after I will bake cookies with my sweetheart. I really love december :)
I wish you all a merry christmas!
