I've been homesick for San Diego ever since I got to Virginia. I've been so homesick. And I think this summer, I'll finally have a chance to go back. I really wanted to go back last summer, but I hate leaving loved ones behind. That, and I don't think moving back would be the right thing to do. Sure, I love San Diego. It's my home<3 I'll always be a California girl. Anybody whose anybody knows that. I don't have that same step or swagger that East Coast girls do.
What it boils down to is, I'm finally getting started in the right direction for my career that if I leave, I'm afraid it'll be a waste to start over. Plus, its nice to just take a break and leave Virginia. California is where my heart is. I may have left the sandy beaches for this crazy messs, but I like it. I really do.
