This year I've posted over 180,000 words, and written over 245,000 words.
Overall Thoughts:
I'm disappointed. I shouldn't be, but I am. I shattered my GYWO pledge target (200k). I completed NaNo, while working ~40 hours a week and maintaining a real life. I completed TWO Marvel Bang fics. But the only goal I didn't meet, was the goal I set for myself last New Year's: Post more words to ao3 than in 2013. :( I missed that goal by less than 10k. That's incredibly bitter. Petty, I know, but still. Bitter. Especially since I have those words lying around in WIPs and incomplete pieces. :/
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
SO. MUCH. MORE. OH MY GOD.
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I don't think I took any writing risks this year. I learned to truly embrace writing in a non-linear fashion, but I started that last year.

Looking Over Your ShoulderTell Me AnythingBabe, I Need The Thrill December:
Another Round of Shots Total number of fics:
48 on AO3, plus probably a dozen or so 500 words or less tumblyfics that only exists on tumblr, and one fic which won't be revealed until 2015.
Total wordcount:
183,264 posted - 245,427 written.
Total number of fandoms:
Two. Including Yuletide. :p I've written exclusively for Marvel this year!
My favorite story this year (of my own):
I'll Be The Rock Star If You'll Be The Scientist. It's 10k of incredibly cracky dinosaur-on-a-plane fic, that literally burst out of me, and I have approximately NO REGRETS EVER.
My best story this year:
I Could Live By The Light Of Your Eyes - I poured my heart and soul into this fic, the little birthday ficlet for tora that just grew and grew! And it paid off, too, I think. Both in terms of plot and story development, I feel like this is the most solid thing I've ever written, and the response has been amazing. :)
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Take Flight had a much smaller response than I thought it would, but isn't that always how it goes? (I still don't like the phrasing of this question.)
Most fun story:
I'll Be The Rock Star If You'll Be The Scientist. It'll ALWAYS be the dinosaur fic.
Most sexy story:
The DP threesome fic.
Full Enough Of Love. Or, as we also know it, "Gosh, I Love Cocks."
Story with single sexiest moment:
Oh, um. I think while the DP is yes and good and mhm, I like the spitroasting in the threesome DP sequel,
Babe, I Need The Thrill.
Story with single sweetest moment:
Possibly everyone in the universe disagrees with me on this, but I am completely fully and wholly enamored with Clint, kneeling at Phil's feet, resting his head against Phil's leg, and finally starting to feel some semblance of peace, in
Tell Me Anything.
Most unintentionally *telling* story:
A lot of people shy away from
Tell Me Anything, which I can understand. Looking back at it, I basically hate this fic more than I hate most things in life - but I do think it says a lot about my RL when I was writing it. 2014 was not a fun year for me, and Clint's mindset in this fic was very closely tied to my own mindset this year.
"Holy crap, that's *wrong*, even for you" story:
I wrote an unhappy/ambiguous ending for Sex Is Not The Enemy,
All The Darkness I Have Worn. D:
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
I think I'm pretty firmly set in all my headcanons by now, tbh.
Hardest story to write:
Tell Me Anything. In so, so many ways.
Easiest story to write:
I'll Be The Rock Star If You'll Be The Scientist just sort of fell out of my brain in less than two days.
Biggest Disappointment:
Tell Me Anything. I wanted to do something else with this, it started in a different location than it ended up, and it wasn't exactly appealing to the masses.
Biggest Surprise:
Not only did I meet my GYWO pledge, I far surpassed it!
What's next?
I actually think I need to take a further step back in 2015. I have other areas of life to focus on. I'll still be writing when I can, because I can't not write, and Age of Ultron is coming! AOU IS COMING! MORE CLINT! MORE PLOT BUNNIES! MORE THINGS TO WRITE! But I can't pledge GYWO again, I don't think, and I can't sign up for so many things. For now, the tentative plan is Marvel Bang and Yuletide. Everything else, well, we'll see.
