Hillary goes too far?
La Times Op piece on Hillary Clinton's statement that:
the president should have "some lawful authority" to use torture or other "severe" interrogation methods in a so-called ticking-bomb scenario.
I happen to agree with the author. Why outline all possible scenarios when we know that torture doesn't produce the desired results? Too bad congress gave in to Bush and his minimal popular support to sidestep the Geneva conventions anyway.
