So, it looks like the theme week is moved back again, because Gaby is Monday & what Monday does goes. Oh the power! I don't envy her it, because she is also in charge of remembering video weeks, which I suck at doing.
So far this week is full of great things! First, my ethics (and generally least favourite) class was cancelled, which meant I got to stay at work for training. That in itself is not exciting, except that it means I don't have to go in tonight. Also, I had time to get pizza before heading to my second class of the day. Seriously, a slice of pizza bigger than my head & thicker than my thumb, plus a can of pop, all for $4/£2.6!
My second class of the day is Advanced Writing, which is one of my favourites, and has my favourite people. A lot of us were having trouble with our literary journalism assignment, so we spoke to the professor and she agreed to give us an alternate assignment, which would be another narrative paper. In addition to that, the paper would also be due next Tuesday, instead of this Thursday! Whoo! And because most of us didn't have papers to do an editing workshop on today, we got let out an hour early! :D
Tonight is also the return of Glee to American television (I'd say sorry to Jenny, but she's getting new episodes weekly already, she's just a tiny bit behind), for the back nine! I'm pretty excited to finally have Glee back, even if it's on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays now. (haha Jenny I stole it!) Plus, some of the upcoming guests are going to be Jon Groff(y), Neil Patrick Harris, & Idina Menzel. I might be the most excited about Idina Menzel because 1) She's Idina Menzel, nuff said and 2) I'm convinced that Lea Michele is her secret love child. There's really nothing you can say to make me think otherwise.
Tomorrow, Wednesday the 14th, has been proclaimed Lloyd Dobler Day, after one of the best men ever to grace the silver screen! It will be the 21st anniversary Say Anything, so Berk decided this would be the best day for it, and I agree. Jordyn, Berk, & I are all having little celebrations which I urge you to join in on. Of course we will have a viewing of Say Anything and be prepared for the accompanying twitspam. Jordyn also has a great post planned for all of you LOLSI fans (though not a chapter, it's a secret!) and the two of us have a big sekrit that will be unveiled then also. It's going to be a great day!!
Comment Questions
1. We've already seen Cheno, and now we have other broadway starts coming to Glee. What other star would you most like to see on the show?
2. For that matter, whose music would you most like to hear? (I want Lady Gaga, which is great since they've already announced an episode with her songs!)
3. What are we going to do to get Toni to watch?
4. Will you be celebrating Lloyd Dobler Day with us?
