The One in Which Jez Has a Toni & a Gaby
Hello all! It's a party 5NW style here in Chicago where I have with me Toni & Gaby. And also a Joe.
Gaby already told you what we'd done so far, so I will tell you what we did today.
First, we slept until noon. I was the last to go to bed last night & the first to wake up, but eventually Toni & Gaby woke up. We started making sandwiches before we tweeted & texted Joe to get up. This is the only way to wake a sleeping Minty Pineapple. After sandwiches & showers we went to the zoo!
At the zoo it was a free day, so that was magical! I'm a member so I always get in free, but the extra stuff was free too. We started out in the children's play zoo, of course. In there we dressed up as lemurs, painted pretty pictures (all of the Party in the 5NW haha), & painted Joe's face like a lion. It was fun times. We saw a lot of animals and had hot drinks and then there was a fancy light show too! Also, we saw primates. They make choices. ALL THE TIME.
After the zoo we went to IHOP for nighttime pancakes and to introduce Gaby to its wonders. Unfortunately Gaby refused to eat breakfast food and had a burger, thus negating some of the awesome. This is sad. But the food was pretty fantastic.
When we got home we all went online. Except for Joe. So we had a skype conversation without him and for part of it Hilary joined us! And Ray too! It was a big Joe-less party. And we are all such geeks. There have been multiple times this week where Gaby & I have just gotten on our laptops and gone on tumblr. When we're sitting next to each other.
