(no subject)
Why have I called this userpic "yellow flower"? It is obviously a sunflower rather than just an unspecified yellow flower! *facepalm*.
Today I literally had to run to get the bus, I saw it coming round the corner past the bus stop, thought "oh crap I've missed the bus, ah well". And then my brother started running. And my brother can run fast. So by the time I got to the bus I thought I was going faint, but I did get the bus!
I recently changed buses (if I get the 16 rather than the 525, I pay the same price, but get to go home early on a Wednesday and a Thursday since it's a public bus rather than a school bus) and now I sit on the top deck of a double decker bus, which shouldn't freak me out, but does. Since, once the 525 literally drove into a tree, luckily no one was hurt, but I've been scared of the top deck of buses ever since.
So yes, I had a quite weird day, which consisted of me spending about 30 minutes walking around town trying to by a) some glitter and b) a drink, but nowhere sold what I wanted and so I gave up.
Ok, in less bizarre news, I sent off my university form today, about a month after I wanted to, but oh well. I ended up getting my best friend to send it off for me, since I wasn't in school in the afternoon and she was. Now I just wait for universities get back to me!
Also, if you haven't seen the latest episode of Doctor Who "The Waters of Mars" you really really should. I won't discuss it here, because of spoilers, but I thought it was excellent.
