TimeTweeters & A Very Potter Musical (and also Skype)
+2 awesome points for Toni for reminding me that it is Tuesday. I didn't forget to post, I just forgot what day it was.
Okay, so last night was pretty much amazing. The time tweeter stuff was hilarious. You guys are bloody brilliant, +10 awesome points to everyone involved. So, for those of you who missed it, here's what happened. We started receiving tweets from the future, starting with @FutureJoe, who is more or less just like our AlohaJoe, but older & has a mustache. He started answering questions about our futures, & then more FutureTweeters showed up. At the end we had @FutureVincent (who is a ghost, later trapped inside of a bottle out at sea), @FutureRay (who is a little crazy, captures Vincent in the bottle, & also ends up in time jail), @inflatomoose & @inflatablemoose (one of which is married to @FutureJoe, we're unsure which), @FutureAleon (who is Queen of Almost Everything & a super crazy tyrannical dictator), & @FutureJez (who is the coolest person ever). FutureJoe had a get out of time paradox free card, but I'm not so sure that @FutureRay did, because @FutureJez, who is either a time agent or part of the Chronoguard, sent him to time jail. Also, @FutureAleon is frickin crazy and needed to be stopped. She sort of created her own time paradox, but she *makes* the cards, so it was okay.
Okay, really quick, I want to tell you about @FutureJez. She is a best selling author for writing books about relationships & how to avoid them, which is pretty much an autobiography. She lost a leg in a "rather delightful incident" (that I don't know of), and owns a firepig farm at the center of the earth. She won the Award for Most Awesome, but it was taken away from her because the committee didn't like the idea of her being a firepig farmer. But when the price for firepig jerky skyrocketed, they changed their minds. Also, she married @FutureVincent at the top of Mt. Everest (first couple to do so) so that they could each get dual citizenship (him in the US, her in Sweden), but later divorced him at the bottom of the ocean. As far as I can tell, they're still on good terms.
I tried to start chronologuing (yes, I made that term up) the adventures from last night, but I really don't know the best way of going about it. So, I think I need some help with that. Maybe we can each take an account & figure out their part of the story? I don't even know, but it needs to be figured out, and maybe written into a short story or something. :D
Another point of interest today is A Very Potter Musical. You must all go watch it on youtube if you have not seen it already. It is completely made of awesome and vastly hilarious. Any scene with Malfoy is instantly funny. Voldemort is frickin cool (and also kind of hot? Am I the only one thinking that?) and brilliantly played. Also, I ship him with someone else, that I won't spoil just yet. Snape is also hilarious. Just...go watch it okay? (Ps: Pigfarts. It's on Mars.)
Hilary told me I need to talk about Skype, because I just videochatted with her on skype for the first time. Okay, I like Skype because you can videochat. What I don't like about skype is that you can only videochat with one person at a time. This sort of puts it below tinychat, which is probably not a good thing. At all. (tinychat is awesome, but has its flaws...like trolls) Also, for people like Hil & I who have their microphones & cameras built into our laptops, you can hear our typing really really loud. Again, this doesn't seem to happen in tinychat. At least, I don't hear it when Mike does, & no one has complained about me (unlike last night when everyone was complaining). The only really good thing I have to say about skype right now is that my cousin in New Zealand has it & uses it to talk to us back here in the States and then it doesn't cost money! Also, he can videochat, so that's pretty cool. I love D & it's hard having him on the other side of the world, but this helps.
