So today I had my last test & my last practical in bio. (I got a B on both of them, by the way) I still have my final exam left, but then I'm done! When I am done with biology, I am done with junior college. I will have my AA & life will be good! Whoo!
As further proof that I am almost done with JJC, I paid for my classes at Trinity today. A whole $1328! I know that sounds extremely low to some of you, but it's only for one semester and we are poor. So, that was a huge chunk of my money. Like, a third I want to say. Maybe more. And my mom wouldn't have been able to pay that at all. Still, we get a tonne in financial aide because of that, so it pays to be poor.
After paying for classes, I went to the bookstore on campus & got a t-shirt, haha. Technically it's for me from my aunt, who is paying for it. What she does for birthdays now that we're older is give us a certain amount of money to be put towards clothing, we buy it with the money, give it to her, she wraps it, & then she gives it back to us. It's crazy, but then again, so are we. I also got a burger at the café there & I hope to never get over the awesomeness of these burgers. They are cheap and super delicious--and fairly healthy too!
So I was reading Kissing Kate by Lauren Myracle lately & I'm starting to fall in love with Finn. And then I realized that maybe it's because I ship Finn/Lissa (of course, I sort of ship Lissa/Kate). That seems to be the case in most books I read, if the guy is starting to like the girl, I generally like them. Although that's not always the case. The real reason is that boys in books are just better. (And if you know my current boy situation, you know that boys in books are better for me) I mean, how can you compete with guys like Spencer (Suite Scarlett), Jonathan Guyer (Mandie series), Jay Gatsby, Lincoln Clinton Carter Kennedy (Lucky Breaks...Oh come on, he's gonna grow up to be the greatest boy ever), & Luciano (City of Masks, which you will read eventually). It all reminds me of a piece of flair I saw on facebook of The Doctor that said "Yes, he's fictional, but I'm willing to convert."
I asked my sister for an example of why boys in books are better & she said "they're perfect," haha. I question her taste sometimes, because her favorite is Jasper Cullen, but whatcha gonna do?
I have no point for this post, really, sorry. I was going to wait but I'm headed over to Chris's house for a girls' night with her & Jen. We're gonna complain about boys, haha.
1. Where do you go for really good food?
2. Who's your favorite book boy?
3. Have you got your school shopping done yet? I went to the store today & got a pack of notebooks and some pens. That's all I need.
4. Do you have family members like my aunt who have you pick out your own presents?
