Jenny is a busy person!
I have had a busy few days. Last Thursday I went down to my friend's house in Oxford for an awesome party with lots of films and internet people. Then yesterday it was my friend's birthday party and we had a bbq and slept in tents, hence the complaining "I hate camping" tweets. Then today is my father's birthday, we had cake and bought him a coffee maker, so that was fun. Finally, tomorrow I'm going down to London to see The Mountain Goats, which I am excited about. So yes, it's enough things to distract from the fact that it's two and a bit weeks until I go to university.
I was thinking today about twitter, I keep thinking that it's narcissistic to post on twitter, and that I shouldn't post on there. However, the thing about all social networking sites is that they don't work if noone posts anything, and the people I enjoy following the most on twitter are the ones who do post things. So I'm still aware that it feels narcissistic to post on twitter, but I think that's a good thing, to stop me spamming everyone too much.
Finally, I have been making a lot of things at the moment. So far this week I have crocheted two hats and have an exciting puff stitch red beret to finish, made a bag (pictures to follow) and designed and bought material for a dress. However, I think all this sewing is just procrastination for doing important things like buying stuff for university. I have also been watching random programmes on BBC iplayer while I've been sewing, which is interesting to say the least.
