I am having a really nice week, I'm busy enough not to be bored, but not busy enough to feel busy, so all is good!
Today I met up with some people who are going to UEA in September, two from the boys' school, one of whom I knew, and a girl who is friends with one of my good friends. It ended up being really nice, since I was worried that it would be awkward, but my friend and his boyfriend hung around with us, so I felt like I knew more people. I'm really glad that I'll know quite a few people when I go to uni, because I was worried that living off campus would mean I wouldn't make as many new friends.
Yesterday I went shopping for university stuff, I ended up with the most random collection of things: an eggcup, a one person casserole dish, four glasses, a water filter, six water filter cartridges, an aubergine/eggplant coloured bath mat and an aubergine/eggplant coloured hand towel. I did spend most of the time looking at the prices of things, so I could make sure I made my money last as long as possible. I still need to buy a quilt and a pillow though, which are going to be the most expensive things.
This post is a bit pithy, but I'm trying to focus on the fun things I've been doing, or else I'll dissolve in a pit of irrational fears about university...
