Hey girls, I'm writing from Tennessee where it is really fraking hot. Although my mother informs me that it is just as hot back home.
I talked about this a bit in my last post, but I recorded
The Safe Haven Podcast with Joe the other day. We talked about Doctor Who, Life on Mars, Monty Python and other awesome British TV shows. That should be up in a few weeks when Joe gets around to editing it. Joe's first Podcast about all things Whedon-y is already up on the site. They asked if I could come back and it was fun, so I may. The next podcast will be on Vamps I believe. I could talk about Peeps, one of the only vampire books I've read and loved. Joe will most likely use this as an opportunity to whore himself out. (Jez, I'm counting on you to know what Peeps is.)
We also filmed some for Joe's new video, Neil's New Robot. I can't really tell you what we filmed, but it was epic and hilarious. I can't wait to see the video all edited together.
We just watched Bad Wolf last night which means we have The Parting of Ways tonight. I think Joe was a bit dissapointed that Rose didn't die in the last episode. Anyway, I'm excited because we are moving on to some of my favorite episodes, even if I am probably going to cry.
I've talked a lot on this blog about how The Giver is one of my favorite books. Well, recently I found out that Joe had never read it and that was just not okay. We were reading it out loud the other day and we got to bit were Jonas has his "Stirrings" and shares his awkward dream with his family and stuff. (Joe's mother in the room so that was kind of awkward.) Anyway Joe was acting all freaked out about it and I thought it was weird until I realized he thought Fiona was one of the Old.
