oh.. and do not- i repeat- do not light your christmas lights before thanksgiving or may be forced to form a militia called NSD (no, stop, don't) and raid your home. You can PUT them up because nobody wants broken anything from slipping from an icy roof... but please, i beg of you, don't light them. I don't know why, but it is one of the few things that really irritates me. A lot.
