One of my personal goals for the year was to do a charity walk/fundraiser. I originally wanted to do the Susan G Komen walk, but after the stint they pulled with Planned Parenthood, I decided to donate to PP instead. (Please respect my asking to keep politics/discussion about the Komen/PP thing off of my journal.)
I was talking to Angie, and she mentioned the South Sound AIDS walk. Which is September 22nd. And since there's no fee to start walking, I decided to do it.
Uhm, I hate asking, and I completely understand if you feel uncomfortable with it, but if you'd like to donate to my walking, my page is here:
