Do Your Doodle!
Do you ever wish that you could think of the world in different shapes and colours, from an entirely different angle?
Do you know that in India, traditional Sanskrit literature considers east to be what we'd consider north? So this is the way we'd look at India on a map:
And this is how they would view it:
Different huh?
I'm about to sit down to draw a picture, but I know my hand is going to want to draw the same curves and rough lines as usual. I wish my brain could come up with something better... or at least something different. I find that the game 'do your doodle' helps to broaden drawing horizons. If you don't know the game, the basic idea behind it is someone draws a weird line or shape, and then you have to turn it into something. Maybe I'll try and incorporate that concept this time.
If only there was a way to translate that game into something that changed the way we see everything else...
