Ummm... this being sick thing has beyond gotten old. I had the flu half the week. And then today, we realized that my clients from this past week were the clients from hell!!!! It was bad. And my placement is borderline horrible/not technically meeting the requirements set forth by the licensing board... So I have to figure out what to do... grrr... AND, I signed a confidentiality agreement today... so if I do any major bitching about it (or my director or clients) it'll be cryptic and in a friends only post... There's so much, I don't even know where to start right now though... so I'll spare you... i won't.
I wish I hadn't had the flu this week... I was in the mood to go out, but decided to be good and try to rest/finish getting better. Big "black" party at some convention center downtown- the group of girls I would've gone with (6 or 7 in all) are likely to be some of if not the only white people at the party... at one point, that would've made me uncomfortable to suddenly find myself as the minority in a situation, but I've gotten used to that with my placement... was cool seeing a couple of our guy friends before they all left though- I just need to get better... and be in the mood to go out again when some of the guys are around to go out with too or when all the roomies go out...
