my brother texted me yesterday, "have u seen the new erikah badu video? the last time a straight white guy asked me that? never. i watched it today. apparently it's controversial. (eyeroll). i thought it was hot she was inspired by matt & kim. whoever they are. the song is a bit of a snooze though. not that i don't love me a cup of erikah badu! it does take me back. and i appreciate the artistic stand for her own special view of the universe.
anyway. i'll keep on my twin tracks of neo freak-folk & vintage electronica. there's a song in my head but i cannot place it. there are some clashes of it in this one though. the alllll mighty jonzun crew had me jamming back in the day. thank god for german tv or wherever the fuck this came from so you can see what utter freaks they were. freaktastic!
