Unfortunately, I've finally reached the point in Naruto where I'll have to wait for each episode to come out weekly. Like the rest of you people. >.< That anime is far too addictive. One of the reasons, in my girly opinion, is that it just has really cool characters with lots of development and who are all relevant or intertwined.

Shikamaru used to be of my least favorite characters in the anime. He forfeits an important fight because continuing would “too troublesome”. He’s unmotivated, likes to play games, doesn’t like to hit women, and is a calm and level-headed decision maker. LAME.

Since he's genius with a high IQ who gets horrible grades, he reminds me of all of these idiots that, in high school or college, would claim to be really smart just not get good grades. That if they were challenged or if they just decided to try, they could get really good grades. Ya know, if they just wanted to. -_- For one, if they were so smart, they'd realize how important it is, for one's future, to learn in school and attempt to do well. It's also really harsh of them to say such things and undermine all the hard work and skills that it takes to achieve good grades and recognition in school work.

Yet, Shikamaru's fighting style is really cool because he does actually fight very intelligently. In the fight with Temari, planned out so many scenarios and his opponent fell into his traps so easily. Even though he isn't that strong, he was able to lure her and trap her with his shadow technique. So cool! And he's so funny with his dispelling the sleep thing but then pretending to be asleep so he wouldn't have to bother with anything.

I've watched a ton of movies in the past week. Stepford Wives, Saved!, Ted Hamilton (gag), Sliding Doors, and The Terminal. Saved! was actually pretty good. Although the pep rally like assembly at the Christian school seemed fake and exaggerated, I swear to God (hurr) that it was just like some of the assemblies I went to in LA. They sung, danced, pep-talked, and tried their damned best to make God cool and modern. It was funny as hell.

The Terminal was also pretty cute. Nothing spectacular, but there's no denying that Tom Hanks is an amazing actor. He was able to pull of the lovable stranded Russian with no problem. He was so good that I forgot I was watching the famous Tom Hanks. Although, the Indian doing the random tricks at the dinner table was definitely the highlight.

Heh...it looks like the people that owe us money for the Animazement room will never pay us back. -_- Nope...we won't be getting any money nor sex (we'd accept either) for our generous offering of sleeping quarters for the tired at the convention. Meh, we're too lazy and shy too actually keep asking them.

It was really nice out today. Not what you'd expect for the first day of summer.
