Doctor Who: Brain Broken, Grey Matter Everywhere

(preface: I scare very easily. I had nightmares from the trailer for The Others and I though Scary Movie 4 was frightening)

1. Last Night: Before going to bed I decide to watch an episode of Doctor Who while working on my next CamLovesHaiti art piece. The episode is a cliffhanger about humanflesh-eating darkness. Obvs, I don't want to turn out the lights after that, so I decide to watch the conclusion to feel better. Conclusion terrifies me even more. So I put on the next episode--the Colin Morgan one--thinking that, hey, it's Merlin, he's not scary. Wrong. Ep is brilliant, but I'm curled into a fetal position, rocking in my chair by the end of it. Basically, the hours after 10 p.m. were a vicious cycle in which I kept watching episode after episode, hoping for a feel good one that would let me sleep in peace. That didn't happen until the series finale. At 6 a.m. Work is not going well today.

But on the bright side, I finished painting Gwen and 75% of Arthur. And the Doctor found Rose!

2. Doctor Who Brain Explosion Extraordinaire: I think I need to take it easy with these show marathons. Today I walked by a phone booth and was like "Hey, it's the TARDIS...no, wait, that's not right." This is like the time I marathoned 3 seasons of Veronica Mars in a week and started thinking everything was a clue to some mystery I was solving.
