( by now she's calmed down a bit so sudden shift to politer speech… ) I'm not sure about a 'guy who thinks he's the country,' but I do mean Russia, yes.

It's exactly what it sounds. There's a guy who insists he's the country of Russia even though he's human. [Oh, what little he knows...]

Er, could it be you do mean Russia?

[Flatly.] Don't tell me you believe him.

Eh… well, if you're talking about some random guy saying he's Russia, then no. But if you mean his personification, unfortunately, he really does exist.

Right.

Either way, he's not the one sucking us in here. There's supposed to be an overlord, [scoffs] not that she ever shows her face.

Is that really true? ( sounds far-fetched… )

Mm-hm. [You'll find a lot of things here are, Hungary.] The only time I've seen her is when she appeared in everyone's dreams. She looked like she was in a lab or something.

A lab? This doesn't look like the sort of place that has one. ( since she's in and has only seen the village so far. )

There're a few. Two of them are run by arrivals. One of those is my employer. There're supposed to be some defunct ones up in the mountains, but I haven't seen them yet.

There are mountains here too? ( so much… )

There's a lot more than wherever you landed. I haven't seen it all, but I don't care to explore every corner of this place unless there's a chance it'll lead out of here.

That makes sense, but… what if the way out is in one of the corners?

[Grumbles. Definitely a point there.] I'm not good at all that outdoors stuff. I can't go out there alone. Something might happen that'll kill me. I can't afford that. [In a low voice, more to himself.] Maybe it's time I organize my own expedition. If no one else will do it, then I have to.
