Just watched King Kong. Would've been great. Should've been great. The first hour showed the most incredible promise ever! But then you get to the second hour and all you see are dinosaur chases and bug fights and a jumping monkey. Third hour? A jumping monkey in NYC being shot at by a plane in between the moments when he stares into a blonde chick's eyes.
And after he dies, the movie ends. Just like that. No follow up on story lines or characters or anything. You don't even see Jimmy after the island. DUH! WASTE OF A CHARACTER.
At least I recognized Jimmy. I was all "IT'S SMIKE! I'm sure of it!" X3
