A wedding! A wedding! Ding! Ding! ... ding.

Well, what a busy weekend to recount! On Thursday, Kari and Charlie came over to help Dad and I load our church's round tables and chairs into a U-Haul and take them up to the Angell house. Sierra helped... And dropped a table on her ankle. So her ankle was all scratched up and she was in a lot of pain. We were all "Oh no, we broke the bride!" and we had to help her walk everywhere. Went to Riley's and set things up. Davis and I couldn't figure out how to elongate the tables legs. He was all "How the heck?!" X3 I decided I really like Davis. He's such a good, cute kid. I'm jealous because Sierra now gets him as a little brother, lol. Anyway, so we stayed fairly late and set up. Came home and started making Sierra's guestbook/ wedding album thing. So cool. X3 Soon after some (millions of) relatives came to stay. I moved my stuff down to Sierra's crowded, bridal-shower-gift-infested room. We talked for a while in the dark before falling asleep, and that was her last night as a single person.

Friday morning! We got up and got dressed and Mom did Sierra's hair up all nice-like. Cyoote. Looks kinda funny without the veil that way, though. We left as Riley came and picked Sierra up and we got to the temple at basically the same time as they. Felicity, Alethea and I waited in the waiting room and got so bored that I started teaching Alethea some french, lol. Then Zellers came with babies and I had to help watch the little monster named Tyrell. X3 Eventually we went outside for a walk, and people we knew started showing up and coming out of the temple. Watched and anticipated everytime a couple would come out of those doors... But everytime it was some other bride and groom. Riley and Sierra had a 10:20 ceremony... and twenty-seven couples were married before them in the Salt Lake Temple. XD

But when she did finally come out... Well, all of the other couples before them came out really peaceful looking. They looked happy, but really.. serene. And they kissed for the camera, but it was... hesitant? No... not quite. At any rate, when Sierra and Riley came out they were laughing and smiling and effervescing with happiness. They were overflowing and they had such love in their eyes. And Sierra was... glowing. She was so beautiful, both of them all in white. It was just so.. incredible. I started crying of course, and I turned to Aunt Amy and I was all "Why am I crying?!" X3 But seriously, she was glowing. I want to go to the temple so bad! I want to get married to my hot RM! Where is he?!?! XDDD But we had to wait while the nazi bride yelled at everyone until we could take our pics on the temple steps. THen we took pics and walked around with Erin taking pics and Shae (sp?) video-recording. Melted under the sun, seriously. Finally made it to the Jade Room at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. My feet were dead. I sat next to Donny and Danny during the luncheon and next to my sisters and across from the Bradshaws and Hales. Yay, lunch!

Went to the Angell home to set up. It had rained... Dad checked the doppler and saw that it would most likely rain right over us again during the reception. Dad was asking people if we should move the reception to the churchhouse instead of the backyard, but everyone just kind of ignored him. Dad, Davis and I were sitting in the room, and this is when I decided that Davis was just too cute. XD

Davis: Nobody's going to move. Yeah, it's going to rain on us, but nobody's going to move it. We already have everything set up. Nobody's going to go to the trouble of moving it now.
Dad: But we need to move it.
Davis: Yeah, but no one's going to. Oh well, it's Riley's wedding, not mine. So I don't really care. When I get married ((Remember, this kid is eleven XD)), I'm going to plan my reception for a nice day and make sure it doesn't rain.
Me: Yeah... Or you could invent a weather-controller.
Davis: Yeah... Then I should probably start paying attention in school.
Me: Probably. XD

Well, he was right. It got windy and rainy and no one dared suggest again that we move to the churchhouse. But we all prayed and the weather did calm down tons by the time the reception started. For two hours we stood in line, shaking hands with "hello I'm a friend of the Angell's"s. Seriously, way more Angell people than our people. X3 But with Sierra's wedding cd playing in the background on repeat, the Cantina music from Star Wars would come on every once in a while, and every time it did Aunt Amy and I started dancing. XD It was crazy. Sierra's wedding video's going to be hilarious now, hehe. But at 8:00 we cut the cake and threw the bouquet (Misha caught it! XD) and threw the garter (I swear, Davis killed for that thing. He wanted it so bad... Did I mention he's eleven? XD) and then Dad danced with Sierra to "Sunrise, Sunset" and halfway through, Riley came in and tapped Dad on the shoulder and he shook is head and kept dancing while Riley crossed his arm and tapped his foot. Sierra then gives Dad a "Please?" look and Dad nods and she starts dancing with Riley. lol, gotta love Dad's choreography skills. X3 At any rate, Darth Vader came and wished Sierra and Riley a happy marriage. I think someone's sending the picture into The Inquisitor? lol. But that was all good and Charlie came for the last half hour and bawled her cute little eyes out. XD Then we made a lightsaber arch for the happy couple to pass through before the shuttle took them to their car... I want to know what Riley did when he saw his precious hidden car covered in toilet paper, balloons and chocolate. X333

Cleaned up. Went home. Woke up the next morning to help Kari and Dad haul stuff back. Kari almost killed us on the freeway. XD Thanks to the easy manueverability of minivans around Kari's huge truck, we didn't die! Came home and packed up and helped out Mom and then at 2:00 we left with the Whites and I listened to my iPod for the two hour drive to Price. Man, "Goodbye Sky Harbor" is one long, weird song. XD Got to our motel and a cute Mormon boy who's leaving on his mission in a couple of months gave us the keys to our rooms. Set up stuff. Drove half an hour down to Orangeville and ate hot dogs. Came back and went swimming in the hotel pool, which was great. Went to sleep, woke the next morning, went to Orangeville 2nd Ward where Tiffany gave her Farewell Talk thing. Ate lunch stuff at Uncle Jeff's. Then we drove home, playing 20 Questions with the White's car via our walkie talkie things. XD Got home. The Whites came over. We ate dinner and watched Napoleon Dynamite and some documentaries with it.

Dad is now Buffalo Butt. Why? Because Jacob says so. XDDD

There's my weekend in a nutshell. How did yours go? <3
