Okay y'all: I have a maandnetkaart and a day off from school. Where shall I go? I'm interested in getting the heck out of Noord-Holland, but don't want to travel more than 2 hours or so each way. So Maastricht is out, unfortunately. :) Any other suggestions?

Jaaaaa! Ik ga misschien een paar dagen rond de Kerst naar Londen toe, maar verder geen interessante plannen. We moeten zeker wat doen-- dan kun je Rick eindelijk ontmoeten! :)

The real answer? I didn't go anywhere! Bleh. I woke up feeling shitty and homesick and spent the whole day on the couch feeling sorry for myself before eventually calling up a friend and having coffee together. Then I went to Barsingerhorn (pop. 950) on my bike and rode a horse there. Not an entirely wasted day, but not what I had in mind, either...
