Born and raised in Hong Kong, Gayoon was brought up with a diverse understanding of two cultures: Korea and Hong Kong. Her parents had immigrated with hopes of a better future. Thanking their lucky stars they did flourish in Hong Kong. They were innocent, living a clean and ignorant life. They knew nothing of the supernatural. Everything was going well until that fateful day. Gayoon was 23 and she was on her way home from a date. As they walked hand in hand, the guy suddenly pulled her into an empty alley. Nothing turned out like she expected, she thought they he was just getting naughty and wanted to make out (it started that way at the very least), but the moment he got to her neck a sudden burst of pain flooded throughout her body as fangs pierced her neck. She tried to fight but how could she when her strength slowly slipped away.
Gayoon was part of the council not long after her being turned. However, it wasn't because of her abilities or who she was. The council had elected her in order to control her clan that had turned for the worse and left her to serve their consequences. She was left to take responsibility of everything. With a chain wrapped around her neck, like a dog, she served the council unable to leave the country and under close watch from the council. This made her detest her position and her own race. Gayoon turned into a cold and distant lady who cared very little about the people around her.
Years of patience and waiting an opportunity finally came to light. An opportunity to escape her own fate and chains that held her down. With a vampire’s death with a rumor of her demise, Gayoon fled Hong Kong and decided to take her destiny into her own hands. She fled towards new terriories and went into hiding, somewhere far away from Hong Kong. She told herself she would never go back. The life of freedom was enticing and it changed her entirely. Her new life, free from the chains of the coucil and her clan taught her how to be alive (despite the fact that she was undead) and because of that she learned how to smile, to reach out, to speak her mind at the same time she learned how to appreciate and hate what she had turned to, less. The world suddenly became this huge place of opportunities and she loved every waking moment of it. She lived on her own terms, explored, and just enjoyed as she cast her past away and let it all go. It was until that one day, the sun had risen and she lay in bed watching television. She was busy with something else until the mention of the bombing at HKU. The footage of the aftermath of the bombing had her surprised, even more when footage of supernaturals showing their powers in public. She had never thought it would have reached to that level. What was the council doing? Was this a war? How were they to handle those accounts of people saying they were attacked by beings out of this world? It was a breach. A possible breach of the whole existence of the unknown races other than humans and that was dangerous, especially for her kind as they don't exactly blend in with humans. As much as she enjoyed the freedom she had attained there was this drawing force that urged her to return to Hong Kong. It would seem everything had fallen into such chaos since she was gone, what had become of her fellow vampires? She tried not to think about it, she tried to convince herself that the council and the faction head did their thing and they were all okay. This debate in her head went on for days. It haunted her the rest of her days until she figured she wouldn’t be silenced at all. Finally, her decision was made. She returned.

- Though defined as the ability to produce electricity throughout the body, Gayoon can only emit these currents out of her hands and not everywhere.
- The power she has depends on how much energy she has. Which means if she's low on blood intake then she might just end up being a busted battery unable to power up anything.
- Using high voltage electricity would deplete her powers and would need a dangerously huge amount of blood intake (she may need to depelte an entire human of his/her blood).
- Her powers do not shoot out of her palms. In order for her to use them she has to touch the person or the object.
- Any object that nullifies electric shocks will render Gayoon's powers useless.
- She still does get electrocuted IF that object touches her anywhere but her hands and if her powers on her hands are not activated.
- Holding items that conduct electricity allows her powers to transfer to what she's holding if she allows it.
