I don't think I've ever really taken the time to make over the standard Downtown that Nightlife ships with. (It's called Sim City in the Megahood, because I'm a dork like that.)
It was actually a lot of fun to play puzzle with the existing lots and try to create a lay-out that still looked good. I'm happy with how it came out. I think it already looked pretty good to begin with, I just tried to make it look even more cohesive and like a city centre.
I took the rest of the pictures by day, as otherwise you can't see very well what's going on.
The area around the House of Fallen Trees, with the graveyard and Crypt'O'Night Club. It now also sports an abandoned church of sorts. I tried to keep most of the noisy club lots in the same sort of area, away from the residential area.
The residential area, with busstop and train station. SimCity also has an airport, but I didn't take pictures of it as it's away from the city centre. Plenty of connections to the other hoods, I look at it as a sort of central travelling hub as well as a place where the nightlife's at.
