Aftermath.
The trip back home has been quiet and uneventful. The people have been so nice to him, and even he has made some acquaintances. Some even gave him their numbers, which was rather... odd.
Nephrite goes inside the Crown Karaoke with a slight smile on his face. He spots Furuhata Motoki mopping, drops his bag on the counter, and moves to grab the mop. "Let me help you with that. You must be tired, seeing as you have covered for me for a few days."
Motoki only stares at him. "Neph--Nephenie?" he says, confusion written in capital letters on his face. He does not let go of the mop; his grip tightening instead.
"I also bought you something from Canada. Hold on, I'll get it."
Nephrite then opens his bag and takes something out. "It's just a postcard set. I apologize. I... did not see anything with turtles in the gift shop I went in. Let me just make it up to you sometime?"
He then gives the small box to Motoki while taking the mop from the man.
Motoki, meanwhile, gapes at the box as though it may bite him. "How--how was your trip, Nephenie?"
Nephrite smiles. "Oh. It was great. I got what I wanted."
