Hearing one thing, yet seeing another. There's so much dissonance. Sometimes, I wish that I wasn't an observer. I wish that I was the person in the corner, covering my ears, and singing loudly to myself.
I've found a lot of things that'll keep me busy during this summer. My muse has returned to me, and hopefully this time, she'll stay.
A few more days, and I'm back in California again. The good ole O.C. How I've missed ye.
Tomorrow, Grace, her parents and I are headed to Ocean-City for some sightseeing, gift-shopping, and crab-cracking. I'm going to ask if they'll drive down the street from there, just so I can add another visited state to my list. (Delaware) So far on this trip, I've visited Maryland, Washington D.C, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. 6+1 will make it all the more remarkable.
Friday: Seeing D.C by day with Grace and Lisa. Then, going to Grace's cousin's house for the evening. Grace was NOT kidding when she said that she has a huge family. We spent a lot of this trip hopping from one house to the next, and we still haven't come close to visiting all of them. I think we've seen about 1/3.
Saturday: Flea market in the morning, then out to a Ritz to develop my pictures.
Sunday: Going home.
