Not me, I'm afraid. Not a drop of Irish blood in me. But a happy St. Paddy's to those of you who are. I'm doing my part by having corned beef and cabbage for dinner. It's in the crockpot right now, stinking up the kitchen. But it'll be worth it.
I'm in the process of writing this year's workshop, which is what I'll be delivering at the conferences I'm scheduled to attend over the next few months. The overall theme is the different ways to get an agent's attention--and why some kinds of attention are to be avoided at all cost. I always like to address writers' concerns while I'm handing out my list of dos and don'ts, so please feel free to offer up any questions you have about the query/submissions process. It'll do me the favor of giving me some additional ideas for my speach, and of course I'll be happy to answer you here, as well. So? Thoughts? Any trends in the submission process causing sleepless nights? Here's your chance, so shout it on out...
